  It's a great school that is the hidden gem in the SUSD system , the student to teacher ratio is great . They allow and foster a lot of student independence. And foster kids to be responsible for themselves and their education .
  They incorporate outside the box thinking allowing your children to experience aspects of learning that foster things like environmentalism and conservation of the Calaveras river that runs near the school . Things like The day in the Dirt run that foster athleticism. There is a gardening program that allows the kids to grow plants .
  They take lots of field trips that they then incorporate them into the classroom work .
  I have 3 children and many family meme era that attend this school .
